| The Severn Shropshire’s
newest radio station currently has a vacancy
for a Travel News Presenter.
Broadcasting from our travel car you
will be presenting live from the streets
travel news bulletins across North Shropshire
during our breakfast and drive shows.
Your role will be to gather and present
bulletins every fifteen minutes during
peak times, helping to keep Oswestry and
North Shropshire’s motorists moving…
You will be responsible for informing
our listeners on where problems have occurred
and what effect it’s having on traffic
congestion in the area.
This is a demanding role; you will need
react quickly to changing situations,
be enthusiastic, and willing to join in
with other aspects of the station for
example outside broadcasts.
You will need to have a full driving
licence and the ability learn the main
routes in North Shropshire.
Working as a freelance presenter you
will need to be flexible in your hours
of availability with the main presentation
times being weekdays 7am – 9am and
4pm – 6pm.
